Shaggy User Info... | Had not bad pizza from these clowns until tonight. Order a hawaiian and a meat lovers and some wings. All gets here, hawaiian is fine, meat lovers smells like they dumped a dead cat on it. Call em back, tell me to hold while he goes and 'tastes' the toppings /shudder. Comes back on the tel and trys to tell me it was salami from a 'new' distribibutor and they'll make me another and send it out. Umm hello? No thanks on the rotten cat pizza dude, just send me another hawaiian. After woking in a lot of kitchens over the years I know what 'off' meat smells like, but yeah it's this 'new' distributors salami. Definately steer clear of this place unless ye love pissin out yer ass from food poisoning. - Wed, 16 Jun 2004 5:58pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | I've been ordering from those guys for a long time. It was always excellent up until 5 months ago. The big problem lies in the new ownership...a bunch of eastern european guys who are obviously either not understanding that fucking up people's dinner means less business, or they are just acting stupid in order to make a few cents extra on each order. For 3 For 1, I haven't had better, but they are slowly going way down hill. - Wed, 16 Jun 2004 7:22pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | I stopped ordering there when the ownership turned over. It got real shitty. - Wed, 16 Jun 2004 11:20pm

Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Damn I miss Ali Baba! At least I found a great pizza place here called Uncle Dave's. It's nextdoor to my printshop too! - Thu, 17 Jun 2004 4:39pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Heh... he must of been ordering his salami from Sammy's on Quadra street. Best pizza, definately Brickyard (but the 5th street has AWESOME pizza) - Thu, 17 Jun 2004 7:58pm
lonemonk User Info... | It's only marginally related, but I've found two things which seem to be an inter-related trend in the pizza delivery universe: 1) When ordering from a place you've never ordered from before, the first three deliveries are bound to be the best examples which that establishment can provide. Its almost like they know its your first time and they pour it on initially to keep you coming back. After three, the 'default' pizza is substituted which is just short of mediocre, and provides enough incentive to not bother switching. 2) If you tip the delivery guy really good (like my wife does), the pizzas actually get better over time. I'm not talking 10%, I mean like 7-10$ on top of. Often we order while travelling home after work, and we can tip the cook directly the same amount; this works best of all. Once you're known as a heavy tipper, the pizza seems to have an extra pizza on top. These rules may not apply to all areas or all restaurants, but rule #2 is the only thing I've ever seen which appears to counteract rule #1. Costs more, yes. But the additional money still does not equate to the prices one pays while dining-out at a sit-down restaurant. - Sat, 19 Jun 2004 12:00am
_Griphin_ User Info... | Why is there no pride in making a decent pizza in this town? I ordered from a few places in the past, and the product didn't justify the cost. If I worked at a place, I'd make sure the quality was awesome everytime. - Sat, 19 Jun 2004 12:41am
