I'll admit that when I was a wee lass I thought it was a bit country, but since the first time I heard The Almighty Reverend Horton Heat in high school, I haven't really looked back. I keep finding reasons to love it and mosre bands that keep the sound and the genre evolving with out killing what makes it so inherently cool. It don't matter much though; 'cause I think rockabilly's great and it's definitely part of North America's grand musical heritage.
