Gitana User Info... | Hey Nocturna thanks for the update & the website on Hans Fear. I didn't realize he had passed. I remeber hanging out with him and Jake and they had decided to shit in paper bags and throw them on the street. Hans was definately a funny character and was always making us laugh. I have been away from Vic for 6 years and I can't believe how many people have lefted us to drugs & depression. He was an excellent artist and I am glad that someone reconized him for his talent. Peace! - Tue, 1 Jun 2004 12:07am
Nocturna User Info... | Yeah Hans was very gifted. We had a graffiti wall up on the back of Big Fernwood a couple years back, and Hans did some amazing art on it. Unfortunately the "powers that be" decided it had to come down, it was only a few weeks afterwards that his fate was discovered. :( That's a hilarious story about the lunch bags. :) I just remember Hans being a rather introverted and mellow guy. Used to enjoy his herb, from what I remember of the "old days". - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 4:06pm
Brand X Jesse User Info... | Was that the Urban Art Exhibition? I know Hans was involved in that -There's pics of him and a few other painters on the site that I designed for Enigmatica Entertainment - http://enigmatica.ca/gallery.htm - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 7:06pm
Nocturna User Info... | The Urban Art project was where it all initiated (thanks to Dane :) ), and the wall continued successfully for quite some time. Unfortunately some people had a hard time differentiating between lame-ass taggers and decent graffiti artists, and blamed the wall for causing increased tagging in the area (completely unjust in my opinion). Thus it was removed :( Those pics are awesome Jesse. I think I may have seen them on his site before. That's community spirit at it's finest! We need more urban art like that. - Tue, 8 Jun 2004 12:33pm
