| METALNECK User Info... | Does this schedule fucking rock or what? Every match up is going to fucking rule! With the exception of TB VS NYI and SJ vs St.L becuase those two games are just going to be slaughters. I wouldn't be surprised if either of those matchups fail to hit game 5. Van vs Cal is going to be sick eh? Both are speed based teams now so we will see fast paced hockey and probably a very physical series too. It will probably be the closest series in the first round. Col vs Dal will be sweet becasue they will probably start bringing out Salo making Dallas fight extremely hard to get anything into that net. Det vs Nas oh god I am praying for Nashville. They will play harder than Detroit and with Nashvilles lineup it will be a very physical game. If they cant beat em, they will beat em up. Tor vs Ott this will be such a rivalry series it is going to be extremely physical with more hits than a free porn site. Toronto will take it of course. Bos vs Mon will be interesting both teams have done better then they were supposed to, especially with the habs having such a drought over the last few years. They have something to prove and they will give Boston a run for their money. | METALNECK User Info... | That was Nashville. Adam Hall scored on Legace 16 seconds into the first period, and then they dominated the first two periods, even though that was their only goal. It was the quickest goal scored against Detroit in playoff history, but not the quickest goal in all franchises. It was too bad Detroit won since Nashville outplayed them. The Vancouver game was surprising with the Canucks getting 10 penalties and then scoring on 4 out of 6 power plays. That puts them so far with the best power play in the playoffs, not bad considering they were 22nd in the regular season. Colorado made short work out of Dallas, and it was a good game, the Montreal Boston game was sick as Boston worked the Habs 3 zip. - Thu, 8 Apr 2004 3:38pm | ||

| Mr. Hell User Info... | The sad part is that the Canucks didn't even deserve to win the series. They didn't want it nearly as bad as the Flamers. A good example of this is Nasland's rush to the goal in the last 10 seconds of regulation time. Why the hell wasn't he doing that shit during the rest of the series? The Canucks defensive coverage was atrocious for most of the series as well...a game seven example being Iginla's goal from Conroy the Curbstompee after that bullshit Canuck's power play. Not to mention how they shut down Calgay-ree on the power play constantly, then let it slip in game seven at crucial moments (ie. the winning goal, also see defensive coverage). And nice fucking penalty Jovonovski. Three cross-checks to buddy's head in front of the ref? Not to mention all the puck cough ups in front of your own goal. Fuckin' dumbass. On the bright side, I thought Auld did well despite his inexperience (which was his undoing). He should be considered for #1 next season. Cloutier back up and Hedberg to fuckin' Columbus or something. Better yet, kidnap Kiprusoff and leave Cloutier in his place. Also, not saying it would have made a huge difference, but that pile-up where the puck went in and the net came off was certainly a goal. No question. | Mr. Hell User Info... | Considering it was the playoffs, Auld did way better than Cloutier could have. I truly believe Cloutier faked his injury in order to spare himself the embarrassment of letting in floaters and beachballs. Sure, Cloutier did fine and good in the regular season, but that means absolutely nothing when he chokes like Oprah Winfrey does while inhaling an entire turkey bones and all. Maybe the solution is to play Cloutier until he loses two in a row, then give Auld 4 or 5 games, then put in Cloutier and see if his head is back on straight. I'll reiterate...Cloutier is inconsistent during crucial times. I'm sure he can sleep well over the summer knowing that he didn't blow the playoffs this time around.
