The music was metal but while metalheads at the time had theyre hair all poofy and stood there flickin their hair around, Duncan flailed like a madman, hair dyed black and was the first person I had ever seen with nipples peirced. Thats pretty fuckin punk for 1989. Totally against the grain with plenty of shock value. While he may not be the punkest, he eminates punk. So if you need to have a mohawk or an anarchy shirt to be punk someone had better tell Jerry A from Poison Idea that they are indeed not the kings of punk . | ML7Mike | Personally I always thought Gymbo brought something extra to the Dayglos. Not that Murray isnt a good frontman, but Gymbo does a good job of getting up to various onstage antics to keep the crowd warm. I still remember Dayglos and ML7 at Wastelands, and there's Gymbo with his bare ass hanging out of his ripped pants, and he bends over during the set and places his asscheeks about a 1/4 inch from the bald head o the big asshole bouncer thats roughing up the mosh in front of the stage. Somebody points and the boucer turns his head and gets a facefull of ass crack. Plus the tradeoff stage insults between him and Aaron Clark were always a hoot.
