[+} User Info... | i emailed you about the quadra show.. i'm wondering, where are you thinking of holding this thing. the curling club is the only place that's all ages and over 400. but i don't think you guys are going to be able to do 400... - Sun, 4 Apr 2004 7:14pm
ENIGMATICA ENTERTAINMENT User Info... | Hey Scott, If you're looking to do something in the summer time I would talk to Tracy Summers for Open Air (Centennial Square). Their capacity is large (1180) but the rental is cheaper than the Victoria Curling Club. There is also a Church Hall across from Hugo's Bar that people never think of using. I remember the UVIC Swing Club and a bunch of other people had a dance party there after one of Frankie Manning's dance workshops. The space in there seemed like it could fit 500 easily. You could also give that a try... It's always worrysome though because it always seems like spaces like that wouldn't consider doing shows.-- But wouldn't it be cool if they did? You never know unless you ask. -- The last options would be UVIC Multi-purpose Room or Vertigo. Vertigo will do all ages shows but both options are fairly pricy from what I remember. - Mon, 5 Apr 2004 12:49am
ScottL User Info... | Thanks to Enigmatica for the suggestions, we shall keep those in mind, hopefully we can find something simple to do! - Mon, 5 Apr 2004 2:08pm
