I just realized from remembering all the bands I know of in this town as well as checking out all the bands on http://www.rcmpsite.com that I've come to 1 conclusion. It really amazes me how much music this city has generated or is currently generating (bands that you'll either never get to see live, or perhaps you do but have never heard of) and I just wanted to say, nice work people!!! Now if only both this site and Royal City Music Project would get together and help promote all these bands which never get promoted... (just kidding about that). I am literally blown away!!!!!!!! Anyone remember Tyrro? Real bad shit when Steve Andres the bassist drown partying at Thetis Lake after a gig . And Russ Dunaway the singer went to Germany or Europe or some shit (?) to get into the metal scene there . Saw Ed Cliffe the drummer a few years ago working in the Jubilee Hospital when I was getting my knee fixed as a prep nurse . Fuck man brings back Memories of playing riffs back and fourth with Stuart (guitarist , awesome!)in musicianship class ! No amps so we had to practice our progressions real quit and listen close to each of our shit we made up !
