KRIEG User Info... | Edguy's music should have been used. Audio torture doesn't get much more brutal than that. - Thu, 22 Oct 2009 4:24pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | You beat me to it. Duhhuhuh...no. Steel Panther should have been used because they suck so badly. I would have selected Smashing Pumpkins and Our Lady Peace if I were the boss of torture. Wonder if those groups received royalties? - Thu, 22 Oct 2009 4:33pm Edited: Thu, 22 Oct 2009 4:36pm
Mike S User Info... | Are you kidding me, Stratovarius are far more irritating, or maybe some Bal-Sagoth or somethin would be worse. But if we are going to choose bands to torture people audibly I say they shulda have forced them to listen to Immortal and at the same time make them look at the bands photos, although that might cause them to die laughing as their ears bled. - Fri, 23 Oct 2009 11:09am Edited: Fri, 23 Oct 2009 11:13am

Mike S User Info... | 10.22.09 A coalition of US and international musicians, including Trent Reznor, R.E.M., Pearl Jam, Jackson Brown, Rise Against, Rosanne Cash, Billy Bragg and the Roots today announced they were joining the National Campaign to Close Guantanamo—a campaign led by retired Generals Robert Gard, John Johns, former member of Congress, Tom Andrews, and Vote Vets Chairman and Iraq War veteran, Jon Soltz. The musicians also launched a formal protest of the use of music used in conjunction with torture that took place at the prison and other facilities and announced they would seek the "declassification of all secret government records pertaining to how music was utilized as an interrogation device. " Awesome.. Id have to say all the bands that are listed as protesting would drive me nuts too. Depending what order they play that list in, they could inadvertantly make some metal fans.. start em off on a bit of ACDC and Queen, wean them off that onto some Drowning Pool for a day or two then introduce the Metallica.. A few weeks later they'll be begging for the Deicide and planning their EU festival tour upon release from Gitmo. - Fri, 23 Oct 2009 11:34am
trevor corey User Info... | Haha. It's true. Quinn single handedly did that to me when we worked together in the A&B Sound warehouse together in 1988. We all had a turn at what we listened to, and Quinn turned me onto many bands that completely tortured our co-workers. - Fri, 23 Oct 2009 2:05pm Edited: Fri, 23 Oct 2009 2:07pm

Mike S User Info... | Krieg, hey different strokes buddy, 3/4 of the bands you love sound like vomiting bulldogs doing the same thing over and over again album after album. note I said 3/4 cause Im sure we agree on at least a band or two. Me and probably a few dozen people I know that have listened to alot of Edguy realize they are hightly advanced musicians with alot of cool riffs and very Dickenson-esque vocals, lots of ripping solo's and the best part is they mix it up alot, not the same old same old every song album after album etc etc etc. So its not elite enough for you.. thats the way I prefer it. Cheesy power rock played well by flamboyant Germans.. serve with a stout beer and some thick wholegrain cracker-bread. - Sat, 24 Oct 2009 10:26pm Edited: Sat, 24 Oct 2009 10:38pm
Grimlord the stonedinater User Info... | Did I see mike on his scooter...riding with the pack of scooterer's in the gay pride parade. KRIEG User Info... | Edguy; more flaming than the pride parade, more elite than 3/4 of the bands I love! ;-) ...sorry, Mike, I'll stop it now. - Sun, 25 Oct 2009 10:07am Edited: Sun, 25 Oct 2009 10:37am
