I am a born and raised Victorian and spent most of my younger years living in View Royal.
I started playing guitar in 1964 as a teenager and am self taught with some help from friends.
The Para Mutuals were my first band in the 60’s followed by a band named Murky Blue which was the house band at the Down Under Club on Wharf Street in the late 60’s and early 70’s.
In the decades following we played the clubs, Pubs and private dances up and down the island as bands named Milestone, Piranha Brothers and Nightside.
In 1993 with good friends Stu Ruff and Dave Cornack we began Cruel Shoes Rock n Blues Band and still play together regularly simply for the love of the music.
My musical influences have always been good dance music, Rock and Blues.
I consider myself lucky to have been able to play with so many great and talented Island musicians through all the years and regularly remember words of advise from my mother who said “just play it your way” and I think I always did.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
