Devon Sproule

Though she seems to spend more time in Europe these days, Ms. Sproule still calls Charlottesville, Virginia home.  Her newest collection of songs, Don’t Hurry for Heaven, produced by songwriter and husband Paul Curreri and featuring a cameo by fellow-Virginian Jesse Winchester, will be released by Black Hen Records in the US and Canada on March 16th.  Already released in the UK, Don't Hurry for Heaven was given four stars by both Mojo ("what storytelling is all about") and Uncut Magazine ("lacing folk, country and swing into an gorgeously inviting whole").
