My name is December and I live alone in the woods with seven cats. Yep, I am that crazy cat lady your mother warned you about, and I'm proud of it. I was married but I'm not any more. Well, technically I guess I am, but really, no. I guess I should get divorced and that would simplify the matter. I write songs to ease the pressure that builds up in my head from over-thinking. Another way I maintain my sanity is by collecting and hanging out with my cats. You should look at them. They're beautiful and they're on my website: www.DecemberPussycat.com. I used to have a band called PURRr, but now I work alone. I'm thinking about putting together a new group so I can start playing live gigs again. I'm currently working on recording a full length solo album, but it's going slowly. I'm hoping that some money will magically materialize and then I'll just get it done. For now I'm just working away at it one day at a time. That's pretty much the same approach I'm taking towards life at the moment. I'm bored stiff with things and have some major changes in the works. Be sure and check back regularly to find out what they are.
THE FORMAL INTRODUCTION
In 1996, Pussycat formed the band PURRr with fellow bandmates Al "the hairbag" Hannigan and world renowned bassist Rick May. The band quickly grew into local popularity, winning 100.3 the Q's Rocktoria 10 competition, doing a live broadcast performance for CBC's Radiosonic program, and playing at the Cambie for New Music West in Vancouver.
The band was together for 3 years and recorded several of their songs, some with the team of Rocktoria, and others with Jason Detheridge.
PURRr was dis-banded in 1999, and after a long and emotionally exhausting 6 year hiatus, December is currently planning to re-emerge as a solo artist and is searching for a talented and serious guitarist or keyboardist to write/perform with.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
