A group of Napanee’s most talented youth performers have been chosen to compete in the upcoming Canada’s Teen Jam Finalist Showcase at Toronto’s TD Music Hall on February 27.

“We are thrilled that Jade Peter and Third Time’s a Charm (TTaC) have been chosen for this incredible show based on the strength of their original songs and their live performances,” says Michelle Hauser, Program Coordinator for the Harmony Lounge & Music Club. “These multi-instrumentalists have been huge contributors to our Rock Skool and our Young People’s Recording Studio. Having watched them grow in our talent development program I can say that they have earned the opportunity to show what they can do on a big stage.”

“I’ve been with Harmony since 2022,” says Isaac Harvey, bassist and keyboard player for TTaC. “We’ve played lots of shows at venues and festivals across Eastern Ontario, but heading to the TD Music Hall in Toronto feels surreal.” Harvey will be joined by fellow TTaC bandmates Ryland Murray, Joe Hauser, and Brock Pettifer. The foursome will compete in the band category with their 2024 debut release “Fading Innocence” and another original, “Self Sabotage,” which has yet to be released. Jade Peter will compete in the soloist category with her 2023 release “Nothingness” and “Jaded”, a song she co-wrote with her former bandmates from Switzerville Sound.

Renowned live music producer Mark Higgins is the visionary founder of Canada’s Teen Jam (CTJ) and America’s Teen Jam (ATJ) and Big Music Fest, which has featured legendary acts like Aerosmith, Soundgarden, Bryan Adam’s, Slash, The Tragically Hip, ZZ Top. Higgins says, “CTJ/ATJ is building a network of gifted musical teens from across both countries. Finalists will perform live on the big stages with winners receiving cash prizes, and all finalists/winners will be promoted across our international platforms—enhancing their brand awareness for fans & industry professionals.”
