Event Description

This highly anticipated event is your chance to have the first shop at the GIANT Annual Costume Sale 2019. Shop the entire sale on Friday night which includes clothing, costumes, shoes, vintage, and more! The Costume Loft at Langham Court Theatre is thrilled to partner with Wear2Start with this second annual fundraising sneak-peek at our boutique. This is a ticketed event, with tickets at $15.

All proceeds from ticket sales go to Wear2Start and their charitable work. Each ticket includes a glass of complimentary wine thanks to wine sponsor, Hatter-King real estate team - Re/Max Camosun, (or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice), a selection of appies thanks to our food sponsor, Thrifty Foods Fairfield, and entry into the Very Intimate Preview Sale. Limited tickets available to maintain a calm and fun shopping environment. Our space is LGBTQ2+ friendly with gender-neutral change rooms. Learn more about our partners: Wear2Start is a volunteer-driven non-profit society that provides a wardrobe for self-identified women who require assistance in obtaining professional clothing to take the next step toward a successful future. Some clients are referred by employment agencies and community groups, but individuals can nominate themselves or someone they know for our free service. Details available at wear2start.com/nominate. To help cover the costs of helping as many women as possible, we encourage those who can to "sponsor a woman." Each $40 donation allows W2S to provide a client with a personal shopping experience in our downtown boutique where our boutique operators put together several mix-and-match outfits, including dresses, tops, skirts, pants, shoes, handbags, accessories, our Beyond the Start gift bag of personal-care essentials and arrange an appointment for a free hair cut at a local salon.
