Event Description

The Roy Styffe Quartet is releasing their CD ‘Stories within Stories’. The CD features original melodic jazz in the style of Paul Desmond and Jim Hall. Lee Konitz was also an early mentor and teacher. Alto saxophonist Roy Styffe’s writing and playing reflects mature artistry developed through a lifetime of dedication and love of jazz music, both on the West Coast and in Toronto.

This ensemble features the artistry of Bill Coon on guitar, Ken Lister on bass, and Buff Allen on drums.
