Unfortunately without warning our mic was cut before the last song, and I figured it would be alright to shoot off a see you later riff, and that was all she wrote. | James User Info... | Really good show. The Deception were great again and had the crowd really going. Discerp were quite different than I expected and I enjoyed listening to all their deadly riffs. Definitely a band that requires a second listen to take everything in. Horde of Anachron I haven't seen in a couple years and they were really tight. The smoke was a nice addition. Too bad about the ban. | Doc Martin User Info... | if they have been told not to play past 2 and ignored the clock above the stage or a flashing light thats there to let them know when time is almost up, then sure, ban em. | Doc Martin User Info... | Getting shut down would suck for everyone but does Logans have a clock or other indicator visible to the performers to let them know when time is almost up? My favorite little stinkhole to play in manitoba has live shows all the time. There inicator is a bartender with a flashlight. | Destroy_The_Flesh User Info... | Sorry but I have to voice my opinion on a few of the posts here. First off we were banned once before because we had been told by the promoter of the show that we could play till a certain time, and we did. What we didn't know was that the time we had played till was 10-15 mins past the limit. So the idea that we just thought fuck you Logans and played to be pricks is way off base. Now on to the last show, fact is no there was no warning just a mic cut, no clock like lucky bar, no reference at all , because trust me we don't have any problems shaping a set list on the fly to deal with time constraints, its expected and we practice for it. - Wed, 9 Sep 2009 1:33pm | ||
