It disturbs me when kids mosh to stuff liek fuck me usa. It was a fun show. I ripped my finger open and splattered blood all over my guitar and got blood on my face. Ghosts were awesome as usual and were kind enough to help me out with a ride when mine bailed on me. Thanks guys. Ak 47 were also rad as usual. The Crusties couldnt stop talkign about moshing, it wazs funny, considering kids moshed to the synth pop stylings of Fuck me USA after the crusties. Fuck me USA were pretty rad. id never seen em before so i didnt really know what to expect and was pleasently surprised. They were very dark sounduing which is cool inm my books. - Mon, 25 Nov 2002 2:07pm
Gleamer The show was great. The only problem was one very drunk girl who was punching everyone and she was arrested. Besides that the kids didn't understand the principles of when to mosh, but thats forgivable because sidney kids probably just don't know how to react to Fuck Me USA type music. I missed alot of AK-47 (ugh) but I heard they ruled. I got back just in time for Ghosts, they were in good form that night. The venue was a bit weird though, there being so much space and all. but it was a learning experience and the next show will be even better. - Mon, 25 Nov 2002 2:39pm

Any and all Sidney kids involved in putting on this show (cause I know it was more than just James) are great! Thanks for everything, especially the soda pop! - Mon, 25 Nov 2002 5:59pm

Yes, it was a great show. Thank you to everyone that helped out. Most of all I want to thank the staff members at Sanscha Hall, who despite seeming a little rough around the edges, are definitely NOT surly. - Mon, 25 Nov 2002 6:23pm
KAYLA TOUGH AS NAILS, THE CRUSTIES, FMU$GAY, AK47, AND GHOSTS PLAYED TO A PEEPING NEST OF LIQUORED BABY CHICKADEES ON SUNDAY NITE ... A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL! APOLOGIES FOR SURLINESS/SNEERING ON MY PART - I WAS CONFUSED AND DISTRACTED IN MY SOBRIETY AND EXHAUSTION. IN THE FUTURE: A TAMBOURINE AND A SMILING FACE!! - Mon, 25 Nov 2002 7:00pm

No one wants to be on the hook for the damage deposit for a fri sat show. But if yer playing Steve, we'll play and you guys can headline. Unfortunately i'll be on the last bus with the rest of the crowd while you play. heheheheheeh - Mon, 25 Nov 2002 8:45pm

Hey man, you've been around at least 50 years more than me so I would think you'd know that we'd get Quin's band to headline so the rest of us could be drinking by 9pm.
The last time we played Sancha Hall it got ugly out front, back stage and outside. It was quite fun though! Ahh good times. - Mon, 25 Nov 2002 8:50pm
Big Leath The reason the show was a sunday show was (i think) because us sidney kids didnt have school on monday, and what better to do on the lords day than go to a punk show...wasted. - Tue, 26 Nov 2002 1:56am

Mr. Hell - about 140 people were there. If you're going to put on a show in Sidney (you should), look for a different venue. Sanscha Hall is a little expensive... - Tue, 26 Nov 2002 4:11pm
Gallows Vox Ah Steve's got deep pockets. Come on Steve. How about a free show!!!! whos in favour? - Tue, 26 Nov 2002 5:32pm

Ok, free show sponsored by Gallows End and Aaron's RRSP's. I'll supply the insults and pipe dreams. My pockets are deep but have holes in the bottom. - Tue, 26 Nov 2002 6:22pm
JAy For those of you who were confused, when I dropped my bass, I was trying to throw it around my back. I've done it tons with my guitar and it took me 3 years to get the guts to try it with my bass. What a shitty time for my straplocks to break! - Tue, 26 Nov 2002 7:25pm
melissa Thanks to everyone that came; there was a good turnout considering it was in Sidney and it was on a Sunday. It was well worth the effort of putting this show on and I'd definately encourage anyone else to put on a show in Sidney. The kids here are very grateful and seemed to have really enjoyed themselves.

PS- A bunch of 14-year-old Sidney boys have a crush on Kayla after seeing fuck me usa. - Tue, 26 Nov 2002 11:38pm

I'm going to chase those Sidney boys down and beat them to within an inch of their pathetic, pubescent lives with a plastic Casio synthesizer. - Wed, 27 Nov 2002 2:09pm
