| Akylore User Info... | Fuck me...I grabbed the first Crimson at Lyle's a while ago and this one blows it out of the water!!! I had no idea Dan Swano had TEN Edge of Sanity albums...how does he put out such unique music over and over?!?! This is one of the most extremely unique prog metal/rock albums I've heard in a while...a mixture of growling & clean vocals, a lot of ambient keyboard progressions and weird lead work, the song structure is constantly changing but it all ties in together well (as compared to the morse-code-core song structure of Dillinger Escape Plan.....ugh! Fuck I hate them!) But yeah, like it or hate it, you can't argue the originality. Very worthy. 9/10 - Mon, 27 Oct 2003 5:47pm | ||
