| SOS Jesse User Info... | Oh fuck dude, Avantasia kicks ass! I picked up their second album, 'The Metal Opera Pt.II' and and I can say is: classic. There's like nine vocalists on the album! Oh yeah, just to reply to this thread properly...Jesse played this at our last jam and it's pretty solid...I don't think all around it's completely my thing but there were 2 or 3 songs on there that struck me...but then again I've been into Anathema and Solstice lately so it's hard to get into power metal when you're in a doom head space...check it out at the least... - Mon, 27 Oct 2003 6:02pm | ||

You said they "weren't your thing" and now you get erect just thinking about their cover art! It took me three solid listens to fully get into 'The Metal Opera Pt.II' and now I'm hooked. | Akylore User Info... | Yeah, like I said, it was probably just too happy for me at the time...but there were 2 or 3 songs in particular that really struck me though, sometimes it's difficult to discern between the albums that end up growing into you and the ones that right away make you go nuts on the first listen (hence MANTICORA's new album, FUCK ME!!!!!)
