DAJ may want to set up a tent at saint anne's, and that is a lifestye choice because he chooses to be homeless. Is setting up a tent the life choice of all who need to do it? | Jl User Info... | I dont think that 1.3mill. figure is out of whack at all. when you conisder how many people sleep in parks on grass; that eventually needs to be re-seeded(due to tents etc...), and all the garbage left behind; plus having to keep grooming the park year round making sure that these idiot campers dont defile our parks to make them look a mess. With the amount of park space we have; its not like 1 crew of 4 people could handle the task and keep the parks looking the way they do. Amoungst already maintaining the parks that aren't camped in. Chose to do hard drugs and ended up homeless? Choice. Chose to get away from mommy and daddy's rules? Choice. Chose to be homeless, like DAJ, to make a point? Choice. You choose to fuck up your life? | Mr. Hell User Info... | Don't forget those costs don't even include police as the cops have to go into the camps before city workers are allowed to. It takes a long time to clean these camps due to used syringes, feces and other biohazardous material that is left behind. The utmost care must be used to avoid injury or infection.
