| jay brown User Info... | While it does sound like a good show, and I'm pretty sure I will be there in fact. I cant help but think that the term hardcore is used way too often nowadays. There isn't a band on that bill that I would say fits in the genre of hardcore.A few damn good punk bands, a good pop punk band, a damn fine metal band, but unless you've got Sick Of It All coming in to play a surprise set I dont see any hardcore bands. In fact There's Metal, punk, rock, Dub, Ska... and I was trying to think of a sorta fitting title?? Maybe I should just leave it as the Vancouver Island Punk Festival. But then I figured people might be like "well what about the metal and ska bands" ... Black Halo's, Moneyshot, One Drop, The Hoochy Girls, Meatlocker Seven, AK-47, Falling Into Place, and Lady Esther. ALL AGES SHOW! $10 in Adv, 12 @ the door All at Burnside School 3130 Jutland. There will be 2 stages and 4 and a half hours of non stop music. As soon as one band stops the next band starts on the next stage.
