| Jl User Info... | what insipired him to change from violin to guitar? and who were his major influences at that time to push him to make that change? Does he insure his hands incase of damage? How much does insurance like that cost? How long, did he feel, it took to become proficient enough at the guitar to be where he is now(in terms of skill/talent... not money)? Why doesn't he play more blues/rock? (he did, once, cover a deep purple song on a tribute album and he did pretty well considering his neo-classical roots)... Who are his influences aside from his classical roots? (I know he'll probably venture into something like, richie blackmore... maybe tommy bolin? or Hendrix.. but maybe I could be wrong and he'd come up with something ENTIRELY different). I would love the chance to pick his brain about his career... Obveously ego-driven; he'd answer in the semi-most narrcissistic way... but he is one of the biggest influences/pioneers for modern speed guitar playing(a la neo-classical type stuff) and it would be intresting to get his side of the story(no matter how egotistical he is); and besides, at least he has the chops to back it all up! - Thu, 15 Jan 2009 3:42pm | ||

| Tyler User Info... | ask him how to pronounce his name three separate times, and get it wrong each time. ask if he'd rather be a musician, fireman, or astronaut. ask if he knows any pearl jam. tell him to play some on air. ask if he's thinking of branching out and doing some pop-rock singer-songwriter type stuff. ask what he does as a day job. ask what's better - acoustic or electric?
