Cheesy as fuck, but funny as hell!
Missed Divine Light Mission by minutes. Sorry guys, but I do hear you are quite good.
Bronze opened their set with a cool tune named something (?). Whatever it was, I liked it! Then a couple of jammy tunes were played which were ok. After those were put to rest, the remaining songs ruled! Great sound and riffs. Thought the vocals didn't do the music justice, except on the last tune. Overall, very Dozer-esque (as ML7Mike pointed out) and very cool!
Thor came on in a cheesy mask and didn't look back. Hammers and all, Thor was like a double grilled cheese sandwich being ripped open and drizzed all over your brain. Everytime I looked away for two seconds, he had put on a new Wal-Mart mask.
I liked the fact that this guy doesn't take himself too seriously. That makes it appealing.
Some bending of steel with teeth, inflating hot water bottles to the point of explosion and cinder blocks being smashed on his chest were nice additions to the show.
Overall, the music was forgettable, but the show was a great laugh! The back-up singers were a nice addition as well, although they may have been a little over dressed (as in too much on ;}).
Good deal for $6, although I didn't appreciate my bottle of beer being confiscated at the front door. Stupid laws!
Thanks for reading, now go fuck yourself. - Sat, 9 Nov 2002 11:11pm

Left halfway through Thor, I've seen him a few times and it aint really my thing. Great bunch of people playing in his band though. If your into stoner rock then Bronze were fucking great. It's not usually my thing but I liked them so that was a nice surprise. The openers I've seen before and I like the music, I just think they should get a lead vocalist. The guys are really talented musicians, so I think they should leave the singing to someone else and focus on their instruments. Still think they're pretty damn good at what they do though. - Sun, 10 Nov 2002 3:27pm
Manimal Bronze needs to get that screaming guy in the audience as their frontman. I also would have liked to have seen a livelier couple songs first instead of playing them later in the set. then again I wasnt stoned.

Thor was a fun show and totally friendly to boot. Too bad the crowd was so small by then. I prefer his other band for the tits alone but these guys were not bad either. - Sun, 10 Nov 2002 6:42pm
Screaming guy Hey cool I never would have guessed anybody heard me. I love how alchohol can do that for you. That was a pretty good show. It's kinda like the Scooby-doo movie, it's good because yo expect it to be cheesy. - Tue, 12 Nov 2002 2:05pm
