| Chopper User Info... | Sorry, but a bunch of comments from her workmates/friends doesn't make her any less of a Darwin Award nomination. Only a complete idiot crawls over a 15th/16th story balcony to climb down 1 floor with not a single piece of climbing equipment. Even a freehand climber would've had their trusty chalk bag with them so they didn't lose grip. One of our employees is a certified climbing instructor, and he said the exact same thing. This woman was completely moronic thinking she could do this, just so she didn't have to disturb her new hubby at work. Well guess what genius? You think her hubby's all happy and warm inside now? Think her family is? I can hear it now... They're all gathered around her casket at the funeral home telling her how proud they are that she decided to do such a wonderful thing. This is just another prime example of how basic common sense is completely lost, and that is what's sad about the story... Nothing else. A good friend of mine has a great saying. It does nothing to point out the obveous that it was a stupid idea; but it also doesn't help the cause when friends and family are backing the decision this girl made. Regardless of what they think her past accomplishments were; it was STUPID. I know I feel sorry for her family and friends for feeling obligated to justify what she did. But then again, its kinda callous to be pointing fingers like an elementry school kid laughing at someone when they're flying low. I've met and worked with people with all levels of education and life experience, and one thing I can tell you FOR SURE is there's very few actual idiots out there. Some people have an incredible lack of common sense, and most often those people have the highest levels of education. On the other hand I've had absolutely brilliant conversations with people rich in life experiences but very little education. Whenever I hear someone call another person 'stupid' I just see someone with self-esteem issues who fails to understand another person's perspective.
