| Outraged | Well, now that the kiddies are out of school everyone is freaking out at my house wanting to go after Will and his band members and a couple friends with baseball bats. It is pretty serious stuff. I think they can be calmed down for the most part but I too am outraged by this newest atrocity! For those of you who do not know a young kid came on here and stated that he did not like Second Last's Blink 182 covers. His exact words were "that blink 182 cover sucked". This young kid who although has had his name already mentioned would like to keep it quiet as he does NOT want police involvement in the matter. He was walking with his back turned ALONE when Will and the rest of Second Last and a few friends decided that his review was 'unacceptable' and he has the beaten face and body to prove it. Will is bragging about this and is using it as a warning that if you are by yourself and half their size/age DO NOT say anything about their band and call him a god or else you get jumped. This is absolutely disgusting that this little kid had to get beat up to sazve a bad bands ego's. The kid does not want the police involved and there are over 30 high school kids at my house right this moment flipping out. WILL: Because the kid is afraid he will get beat up everyday and because I (for the moment) will respect this kids wishes you might(and I stress the might) not get hospitalized over this matter. Please apologize to him for your uncalled for behavior and NEVER take such action again! Not everyone will like your music, especially since you play a genre that even 10 year olds make fun of. Everyone else: there are many upset people over this and I hope that other bands will not take this kind of action. The police are being very respectable and I can't say a single bad thing about them. I suggest that this be handled by the police since none of you were invloved in the incident so let them try first. If this EVER happens again then it will be open season make no doubt. | Outraged | The police just left and everything went very well, Jason went to the hospital just to get checked out in case but he appeared ok and in good spirits. His mother was the real hero as she supported him and everyone here and respected everyones wishes and looked out for her son with lots of car. There was witnessess at the school and so the police are looking into making a few charges and they really kept stressing not to take action into our own hands as people showed up here who did not even know Jason or second last but were just angered at the situation. The police had a look at Will's comments here on live victoria but said they had enough evidence so they wouldn't need an afadacit's from poster's or the operators. A bad day ended up showing a large community support against violence and it brought a group of people together to even think of maybe putting on a show in support of stopping violence against homosexuals. My younger brother is in grade 12 at stelly's and when he saw Jason running down the road crying he picked him up and brought him here so that we could clean him up and make sure he was ok. I have to say that even though Jason is 14 he is very mature for his age and a very nice kid with good friends and I couldn't see how any normal person could do this! I have never heard of second last or their music but what kind of people do this? It makes me sick. How are you Jesse? I hope you didn't get too hurt. Did you inform the police? This incident has ensured that anyone stupid enough to book this band for a show will end up with no end of trouble, if only for the retaliation factor.
