I have to agree with Justin... always support you local Microbrews, do you actually want your hard earned money leaving the local community?!?

(1) Lighthouse I.P.A. (A very friendly non hassle next day beer)
(2) Lighthouse Race Rocks Ale
(3) Hugo's Porter
(4) Hugo's Hi-C (the beer with Ginseng)

Hugo's microbrews rock cause you can get a sleeve for $3.25 Sunday to Thursday!!!

(5) Van Isle Pipers Pale Ale (in cans it's like drinking diesel fuel)
(6) Van Isle Hermans Dark Lager
(7) Whisler Black Tusk Ale (I know they sell it on tap at the J.B.I., and it's also decent in bottles, nummy!!!)
(8) Nelson Honey Ale (could be wrong on the name, it's only a 4.5% tho')
(9) Guinness (for what Ales ya!)
(10) Van Isle Victoria Lager

Honorable mention: the Swans microbrews, but I can't remember the names of any of them :( - Wed, 14 May 2003 3:56pm

Anon386 What's with all the micro breweries?

If you want alchohol then fuck beer altogether. Go for hard liquor or shine.

If you like beer then it is well worth the money to get the premium brews that actually have good ingredients. I brew from scratch and know full well that it costs more money to make a high hopped ale than a lame cheap lager. The light shit is OK for hot summer days but stuff like bud ( has rice as an ingredient to make it super smooth ) or Labbat/Molson/Kokanee is utter crap. It's like the Sum 41 of beer or even worse. - Thu, 15 May 2003 3:01am

S.V. My one and only *favorite* was Duffy's Dark on tap...sweet & yummy dessert in a stein! But I can't seem to find it anywhere these days :( - Thu, 15 May 2003 9:39am
Lee Ving Hey Kiltlifter matt, those are good beers you mentioned. Just dont trip over your dress goin to get them. Lucky Lagar is the best, like it used to say right on the case "why pay more?". Why pay over 9 bucks a six-pack just to look at a picture of a black bear or rainforest? Suckers... - Thu, 15 May 2003 9:35pm

drunker on the best All the stuff on my list can be had in B.C. except the Ringnes. And if you like the Hoes you should try to find the high test Hoegaarden (5.6% or something) next time you're in Belgium. Mmmmmmmmm. - Fri, 16 May 2003 3:12pm
