I used to date / go for more "punk / alternative" type women but over the years have had relations with all sorts of women and found it didn't really matter (they were all sweet hearts - even them heart breakers ;-) ) - 'cause what mattered was the person and not what kinda "scene" they were into or affiliated with. Don't get me wrong, if I meet a person who I find attractive and they have simillar interests to mine (ie Music) then it can make it easier to hook up. I listen to goth and death rock. IE - Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Tones on Tail, 45 Grave, Faith and The Muse, The Shroud, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Human Drama, London After Midnight ... I'm sick of all the big pants clown make-up wearing idiots that give the goth sceen a bad name. I think it's up to snobby well dress "art-fag" goths to do that, at least they know what they are talking about. | Shaggy User Info... | Goth guy listens to some damn good classic goth I must say. I tend to agree that a lot of the newer goth stuff is just metal crossover and Marylin Mason is as far from the goth sounds as is humanly possible. I grew up in a scene that was pretty open, nobody could really be placed into a genre type other than by how they looked. Metal heads hung out with punks, goths, ska's, and greens (what we used to call sharps). We all listened to each others tunes and loved all of it. That's what makes a strong scene imho.
