| Anonymous | actually i believe dylan davis is the goth guy that ripped off frog eyes. his band at the time, matrieya(sp?) anyone remember them? was playing with frog eyes, or maybe they were blue pine at the time, and apparentlt dylan took all the money, ripping off not only frog eyes, but his own band as well, i think it was probably matreiya's last show. anyhow, i don't know if there are any hard feelings between the bands, when i was told the story, by a member of frog eyes, it was told as a funny ha ha story. - Sat, 5 Apr 2003 1:18am | ||

| One of FE | Um. Did you fail the literacy test? Just asking as it's pretty clear here that Dylan is accused of ripping off MONEY not SOUND. It has now been confirmed on many fronts that Mr Dylan, as a member of Maritrea or whatever the hell, ran away with all the money from a show they played with Frog Eyes many moons ago. Apparently, his buddy had to fork over the money from his own pocket. Of course, I use the word "buddy" lightly here. And I dunno what the hell you're talking about in regards to Mr Mercer. The 350 people at Sonar a couple weeks ago do not agree with you. The fans up and down the West Coast do not agree with you. Our label in New York does not agree with you.
