| JC Sharp User Info... |  The Origin or members of the Origin have live experience at Steamer’s Public House, The Garry Oak Room, Legends Nightclub, The Victoria Event Centre, The Macpherson Playhouse, Logan’s Pub and elsewhere in Victoria. The Origin has recording experience in a home studio. The results of this experience in December 2007 are a four-song non-commercial demo used for promotional purposes. The Origin has plans to record tracks in a professional studio in 2008. The genre of music The Origin plays would be best be categorized as modern rock. As a point of reference, the local Victoria radio station on whose programming schedule The Origin would fit the best would be The Zone@ 91.3. The band’s music is freely available at http://theorigin.ca . For higher bitrate quality versions of the music available on that site, interested parties can contact the bands management for a physical or digital copy of the band’s demo. Anyways The Origin is currently booking an all ages show for some time in July (details to come), we are looking for one more opening band who would enjoy playing such a show. Ideally the musical styles wouldn't clash. All of this of course is subject to approval from the venue, which is why we need to get a 4th band on board now. | Doc User Info... | Liked you sound alright on the website, but I find it HIL-FUCKIN-LARIOUS that you actually used "The Edge" in the same sentence as "guitar innovators of the last twenty years" without some qualifier such as "will never be considered among" or "sure could take some pointers from." Not to put down you guys or Dave, he is a solid guitarist for sure, but definately NOT an innovator of anything guitar. Anyways, looking forward to seeing your show in July. I Think there are plenty of more innovative guitarists, however members of the band of course have slightly different tastes.
