| Tyler User Info... | funny, I'm in an envy-like band that's doing our first jam on sunday. I'm glad you know what screamo is, haha. are you into City of Caterpillar? another screamo band with slow post-rock-ish leanings. I have a drummer and bassist together, with the bassist planning on doing vocals (nick gibas of hierophant). I'm doing guitar as it stands but maybe could switch to exclusively bass, or dual guitars, or something. you should shoot me an email if you're interested and let me know how old you are, what kind of gear you have, some other bands you're into, that sort of thing. I'm 20, I think Gibas is like 22 or something, and the drummer is 17 I think. We're hoping to range between the Envy style and fash harshness in the form of Orchid, maybe just a bit angrier and more climactic than Envy. I was hoping on getting some songs written and solid quickly so I can record some songs for a school project. I'd also have to talk to the other guys since I don't know how they feel about expanding the band. but it's not fully settled anyway. you got me excited with this post. - Fri, 14 Mar 2008 1:40am | ||

I'm going to back out of this whole thread and stick with what I've got going.
