| SS | One of you out there and you know who you are, has been bashing my messages for trying to get something special and far beyond the local band scene. You have made bold comments about me yet you have never taken the time to listen to anything I have recorded. I put the guitar god comment and many others to see if anyone speaks the same musical launguage. I guess not. I'm beginning to wonder if there are really any musicians on this board at all, or mostly wanabees and posers.. Is it like Cross Roads when the karate kid and Steve Via face off? c)what language are you referring to when you mention your "guitar god" comment? To me that sounds like the language of Cheese and when I hear people talk like that I assume they lack the musical knowledge to put their skills into proper context. What I mean by that is if all I listened to was Slayer I'd think I was an awesome guitarist, too bad I listen to Cryptopsy and Nile, who remind me that I have a looooooong way to go. | Robnoxious User Info... | Just wondering what you have got recorded, if it's not to late (meaning if you had your last time here and you won't see this). As for musicianship, I played my first paying gig over 22 years ago at a place in Sidney then called the Golden Bear. (They used to have strippers in the day way back then). You DO have talent - I have listened to your MP3's BUT tact and respect you lack in looking for band mates. also would recommend that if you want to work with a female vocalist, it's best to not creep them out with some of the things you say and do - not to mention the content of one of your MP3's. - Sun, 13 Oct 2002 8:38pm | ||
