| J User Info... | I have a little issue with people who use the excuse of eco friendly-ness to not have children. Imagine if you parents thought the same way, you wouldn't even be blessed with the oppourtunity to type here. If having babies is considered non-eco-friendly; then what about fully grown adults that have no compassion for the same "eco-friendly-ness"? | Inhalien User Info... | Doc, I have to agree, in fact the more I read your comments in discussions, the more I agree with you. It's great to beat your chest and bray about how we'd save the planet if there were no more kids. However... There are people like myself who have kids, work bloody hard at raising them, loving them and hope that maybe my kids might somehow make the place a little bit better after I leave. I personally am not the answer to world peace, but someone, somewhere is. The last thing we need is more useless people, I agree. The last thing our government infrastructure needs is for me to have 10 or 12 kids, I agree. Telling everyone you're going to hide under a rock and do nothing is not contributing to a solution of any kind, in my opinion. I try not to stray into the big discussions on message boards but wanted to put in my two cents as a dad. Due to his horrid upbringing, he's afraid to bring children into the world for fear of doing the same thing to his kids, thinly veiled under an uneducated hippy mentality.
