There were complications with the site. I had floor seats, and then... just wasn't allowed to get them. I don't have a credit card and was going to use someone else's who told me that all the credit info was already stored on the site. They are in Hawaii right now and I have no way to contact them. As soon as you hear of someone who doesn't want their tickets (hopefully floor) or if you don't want yours or can't go etc etc, please contact me! I tried and tried for half an hour, finally got in, went to pay with MY credit card, only to be told the info couldn't be accessed and that my reservation expired, then when I got back in, it was sold out. | Meantime Mike User Info... | hmm mine went smoothly. logged in 5 mins before 12noon, nailed 3 in a row in the 115 seats, then a friend of mine was crying he couldnt get on and after about 5 tries I fluked out and got him a single seat in the nosebleeds, guess someone elses reservation expired. best part is Im not even a fan! hahah suckers. | kay User Info... | yeah, used vic, craigslist, ebay....they're all about 3 or 4 times more than people paid for the tickets. I tried calling at 12:15, couldn't get through, had to go the internet way and by then all the tickets were gone. I'm amazed at how fast it sold out. I really can't believe it. | Tyler User Info... | I'm just going to say something at this point. If you don't have Tool tickets and you want them, you should have bought them online when they went on sale. If you don't have a credit card, you should have made foolproof plans with a friend or something. Those who don't have tickets have themselves to blame. The system is fair, they specified when they went on sale and how it was possible to get them so you did know ahead of time. I was able to get a credit card back when I turned 18. Be it internet fuckups, or them not answering their phone (in my case) we didn't get tickets right at the get go. Neither did some good guys I know that happened to be waiting in the line up, but to to a random draw system they got processed 50th or something and by that time all the tickets were gone. I don't even understand why you posted about how we should've been better prepared, we were, we knew, and you're rubbing salt in the proverbial wound by insinuating that we're pretty much a bunch of ill-prepared troglodytic freeloaders whining about how we didn't get tickets and to give us some. This thread is a bunch of people who had difficulty getting tickets initially and putting themselves out there for those with extra tickets to find and sell to. btw: Not, definitley NOT trying to start internet fights, just had to give ya alittle point-counterpoint. As I see it, people showing up the night before and sitting in the cold and rain is a perfectly fair way of getting the tickets. Also, buying extra tickets is fair when there's a maximum tickets per household/credit card/person. Second, I no longer have any tickets, sorry guys. I'm not directing this to everyone who tried to get the tickets, but I have a feeling that _some_ (not all) of the people who did "try" may not have realized that a show like this CAN sell out in less than ten or twenty minutes. And on top of that, they may not have realized that the servers running the ticket sales might become EXTREMELY bogged down, especially when the credit card transfers started happening. Most people that I talked to who were on the computer well before noon and made sure to sign in AT NOON EXACTLY had no problems getting tickets, myself included. I think even after five minutes, you were very lucky to even get on the website. Again, some, not all. Just log in earlier for the next big show at this venue :) Also, if you somehow managed to get 6 seats together on the floor, congratulations you are a God. (I'm talking to you Sebastian) Congrats to everyone who did get tickets, this is likely going to be the best show Victoria will see for a long time. People from other cities buying tickets to sell on Ebay are pretty much scumbag thieves. As a matter of fact I got into every one of those shows without paying more than what the tickets were worth and some where way bigger shows. Don't dignify anyone who wants more money than the face value of the tickets that only fuels their greed. Tickets are everywhere you just gotta ask around and I can bet you will find someone who has one and doesn't want a million bucks for it.
