| jamaylott User Info... | hello, I'm expecting a little girl this November and had no idea untill about a month after the great news that the cost of baby stuff is far from cheap. Crib bassonette and diaper geenie is over 1000 bucks. so the time has come for me to part ways with my old life and start with my new one. So heres the Deal, its a smokin hot Mesaboogie Dual Rectifier with 4 BRAND NEW top of the line GT tubes, the Tubes are over $100 a piece (199 for the 2 pack) and have less than 20 hours on them. I bought the head new in november 2004 and it still has 2 full years on the warranty and then some. [good ol mesa 5 year ass kickin warranty] I also have a 4x12 Celestian Cab. Not mesa but it still shreds. I'll take 400 for it. Its light and new, 2004 also. Power adaption cord (over 10 feet) and other cords. Includes footswitch and cover. its a 3 channel with a solo (volume boost) channel that can go over all three... so its more like a 2x3 or 6 channel. I'll take offers or cash/trades. | Tim-Bitchfork User Info... | My guitarist just got a Mesa Dual Rectifier Solo head for a 1000 at L&M used in good condition. I don't think that is a joke of an offer. | [email protected] User Info... | well, the head has the BEST tubes on the market today for it - GT's, and its a DUAL REC, not a single. The dual is several hundred dollars more than the single. The tubes are worth over 400 bucks alone (just the 4 new ones i got) and the head is in EXCELENT condition. this isnt a good used head, its perfect and then some. The cab is a LINE 6, it shreds and is plenty loud with the dual rec. i never play over 45% volume - thats big big fernwood or burnside school volume for loud ass band. 400 bucks and its yours, otherwise 300 with the head. | Mr. Chkrlc User Info... | I know several people who recently purchased great condtion dual rectifiers in the 1100-1300 dollar range one fully retubed with JJ powertubes and tungsol preamp tubes both of wich are very high quality. getting 1500 will be steep, imo - Sun, 19 Aug 2007 4:24pm | ||
| jamaylott User Info... | 1500 for a dual rec that is mint, with neither a footswitch and 4 brand new GT tubes which start at $199 is not steep, its very reasonable. L&M is doing them for 2200 right now, without %14 tax. with the new tubes that puts the value of a dual rec, BEFORE tax at 2399, so basically $2734.86 after all applicable taxes. People who sell dual recs for 1300 are selling an amp, with no footswitch, with crappy ass burnt out tubes, and noticeable visual damages. package includes a supreme 6-foot amp-cab cord, footswitch and other goodies. This head is for the seriouse player who is looking to never have to buy another amp EVER again - and looking to save about 900 dollars on a very importnant investment in their future. I wish it were mine, but im happy that im going to be a dad soon. I'll take $1960 for everything. Thats a sweet deal. considering the 2700 it will cost for a new one in identical, actually, cheaper condition.
