We would like to set up daytime and evening times and want to get this wrapped up by early next week. | gino User Info... | Jay's roots may have been the streets, but that was a long time ago. the real story should be told, about how he started out as a midget performer for the circus and through years of plastic surgery and Red Bull he became the loveable punk rock sleaze we remember today! I'm willing to bet my sachel he's eating up all this attention like sunday dinner wherever he is. But seriously i think these dudes are doing this right by interviewing the people closest to him and those who were in bands with him and the like. these are the people most likely to have valid and interesting dirt on him. There may be like a million of us that knew OF him, but people who actually knew him more intimately (so to speak) are a more appropriate selection to eulogize his life. | ricky jak User Info... | Jay is a very important person in Victoria punk rock history... and i remeber meeting him in Piss Alley about 1986ish. I think a documentary on this man is a great idea. I'm glad I got to sit with J a few months back and talk about my brother and our kids. I was never close to Jay or in his notch of the punk scene but we where from the same family... the Victoria punk family.... the punk that was punk.... not just a shopping mall thing.
