| Eurydice User Info... | I wouldn't say it's completely fabricated; no one has actually ever made a statement saying that it was, and the reasons why many say its all a hoax are terrible arguements. personally i don't care, its an interesting enough book. the only thing that i can't help but keep in mind while reading this is that the doctor and patient chose to marry during a time when psychiatrists in canada were caught up in some, ahem, "controversy" regarding inappropriate behaviour with patients. btw, the reason why you cannot get the book in victoria isnt because its too touchy, its just out of print. you can order it from any bookstore :) ps- lord snot, what do you mean "michelle"? she lives and as far as i know, still teaches in victoria. i wouldn't reccomend the book but i'll finish reading it anyway. - Wed, 10 Jan 2007 8:41pm | ||

| Lord Snot User Info... | Well I don't actually know anything about the book from firsthand experience. I was just going off what my girlfriend told me about it, and she got that information from her mom. It was my understanding that the book was about the last exorcism performed in Victoria and that "Michelle" was an assumed name in order to somewhat protect her privacy. She had been involved in a Satanic cult in the Ross Bay Cemetary but had blocked out the memories, and then is forced to remember through hypnotherapy.
