Nothing to Lose), Mission of Christ (they had the contract to Metal Blade, they rolled dope on apparently), Shovlhed, The Shivs, Keg Killers, Micky Christ, The Pricks, Burnside Brawlers (BURNSIDE "E"!!!), Sludge Confrontations, The Wardells, Lord Horizontal, and that's just a start. - Sun, 3 Dec 2006 12:52pm Edited: Sun, 3 Dec 2006 12:53pm
trevor corey User Info... | Ah yes, Mickey Christ, how could I leave them off my list. Shutdown? Really? Alright then. - Sun, 3 Dec 2006 2:27pm Edited: Sun, 3 Dec 2006 2:27pm

dumpstermesh User Info... | Fuck ya, I'm with you on BDC!! By Mark do you mean the guy in BDC that had the dreads? Man, I had the wettest thing for him over a dozen years ago....yummy bass players.... As for metal I really loved Morgoth as a teenager, but they never seemed to catch on for others, anyone else with me? - Thu, 7 Dec 2006 1:30am Edited: Thu, 7 Dec 2006 1:42am
Bryan User Info... | I guess they do have a fairly decent following compared to the bands everyone else is mentioning, but the fact that people are going fucking apeshit for bands like Isis and Mastodon who owe their entire sound to Neurosis, yet the pioneers of this style remain comparatively overlooked is a crime that must be ceased immediately. - Thu, 7 Dec 2006 1:54am
Jeremy Baker User Info... | I always thought By A Thread (Vancouver) could have been a massive post alt or emo band or whatever... just a few years to early? - Thu, 7 Dec 2006 2:39pm
trevor corey User Info... | Future Leaders of the World, and Shocore could have been million album sellers I thought. - Thu, 7 Dec 2006 3:27pm
sealion User Info... | In '93 a guy who sold records on the street in NYC at Columbia, who used to play cbgbs when it mattered told me the best band he ever heard was from Toronto and was named after the license plate on the car in Clockwork Orange. He said they had one lp. Can never remeber the name but the guy knew his stuff. - Tue, 12 Dec 2006 11:04pm
gino User Info... | FOUR BARREL. From somewhere in B.C. i heard sidney, i'm not sure. Best 4 song demo i've ever heard, should have gotten huge. - Wed, 13 Dec 2006 7:03am

MURDALIZER User Info... | Beyond Possesion. But really its better that the truely underground shit remaines underground or it becomes a mockery of itself. - Wed, 13 Dec 2006 10:21pm
Harry/The Deadbeats User Info... | the beatles. - Wed, 13 Dec 2006 10:49pm
gino User Info... | "Underground" yeah yer right it's way better to not have more people enjoy your music, or for that matter not make a livivng doing it. Half of the time mainstream bands only become "sell outs" because music snobs call them that not because they all of the sudden start writing shitty tunes. - Thu, 14 Dec 2006 7:09am
MURDALIZER User Info... | Your just pissed off because there were 8 people at your last show. - Thu, 14 Dec 2006 7:43pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | 8? Where were the other 5 people? - Thu, 14 Dec 2006 8:27pm
MURDALIZER User Info... | On stage. - Thu, 14 Dec 2006 9:00pm
Sati User Info... | My favorite bands were all deadbeats & losers who never deserved any damn "due"! I mean jeez, most of them never WANTED anyone to know who they were.. they might as well have just stayed home and invited their 14 friends over a few times. *I'm editing this in!* In case its not obvious, I was joking - I hardly consider bands who don't "make it" deadbeats & losers. But it is frustrating when you can't hear more of your favorite bands because they, for whatever reasons, don't want to go after the support it takes to make that happen. - Thu, 14 Dec 2006 10:06pm Edited: Sat, 16 Dec 2006 2:13pm
Rubber Box User Info... | Im going with Forced Entry - Mon, 18 Dec 2006 4:48pm
tyler User Info... | (skinny [email protected]) dude are you like an fucking moronic idiot? if your underground it dosent mean less people like you...tons of bands are undergroundish and have thousands and thousands of fans..and peoeple can make a living playing music without becmoing huge.. Wp rules - Wed, 20 Dec 2006 7:57am
Mass Hypnosis User Info... | I totally agree with Forced Entry, and would also throw in Anacrusis. Totally unique progressive thrash, with non-traditional vocals, great songwriting and they covered New Model Army... When I win the lottery/sue mcdonalds for coffee burns/rob a bank, I am gonna send them money to play on my balcony. - Wed, 20 Dec 2006 8:14pm
gino User Info... | Tyler. I might be moronic, but not an idiot. yer quick to shoot yer cock hole off to people you don't know. yer probly one of those shit heels that uses the term sell out on the regular. - Thu, 21 Dec 2006 10:24am
tyler User Info... | all right let's party - Fri, 22 Dec 2006 9:24am

gino User Info... | lets party indeed. this is the shitmas season and love abounds. i apologize if i sound like an asshole but i was born an asshole, and am the son of an asshole. it has better prepared me for a world full of assholes! But on the topic of "bands that never got theyz due" anyone heard of the FELCHERS? possibly the best band ever to happen in the vancouver area. merry shitmas to all and to all fuck the fuck off! - Sat, 23 Dec 2006 10:07am Edited: Sat, 23 Dec 2006 10:10am
jay fatso User Info... | i got to play with four barrel back in '98 at the exit, and yes, they were a pretty rad band...you got their CD gino? lost my tape a long ass time ago. .....what the fuck is a tape? - Sat, 23 Dec 2006 7:40pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | Still got it. - Sun, 24 Dec 2006 8:03am
gino User Info... | I got 2 copy's somewhere. it's so short it leaves you jonesing for more. - Thu, 28 Dec 2006 2:05pm
CM User Info... | Honeysuckle Serontina. Awkward name for a band, but a good band they were. They were a bunch of Victoria guys who moved to Vancouver to try their luck. Put out two incredible CDs, toured the shit out of Canada and the North American west coast, and seemed on the verge a couple of years ago. They had a new CD in the can, produced by Dave Genn (Matt Good Band, 54-40), the Georgia Straight and Going Coastal were raving about them, and then things just stopped and they broke up. - Wed, 3 Jan 2007 3:07pm
Lord Darkith User Info... | Anyone said Death Angel yet? - Sun, 7 Jan 2007 10:40pm
Tyler User Info... | nearly none of the bands I have listened to really "bust out". there are some that have ended before I wished them to end. local examples include the cloak, the raygun, black tie social, pushing up daisies, tough as nails, temper, and (on hiatus I guess but I wish they were so much more active) ghosts. but moving onto a broader perspective, I'm sure everyone has seen one of those bands that has completely blown your mind from either their live show or demo, then they completely disappear. it's upsetting but I guess music is like that. - Mon, 8 Jan 2007 8:51am
