| sledge User Info... |  As of March 24th 2006, our gear and sound techs are available to local bands and promoters for smaller venues as well as large halls and outdoor events. From Pleasant Valley Hall to the Sway-a-Lana (Kinsmen) Band Shell......we have the gear and know how to make sure you sound great. Currently and for the past 4 years the City of Nanaimo has exclusively been working with NRG Sound and Productions for the Canada Day Celebration. NRG provided the support for the BC Summer Games in 2004 for the 4 day outdoor stage in the athletes village. NRG also maintains a good relationship with Malaspina U/C and holds the contract for doing all sound and production at the Velvet underground Pub on campus.
