Anonymous great show, to bad there weren't more people - Sun, 29 Sep 2002 10:42pm
Devotchka I totally agree. I had a lot of fun but it would have been a ton better if more people had been there or if those stupid new metal kids hadn't been there. - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 10:14am
Anonymous Yep, fun show. Gary oak room always seems to attract those uhh, cool chapters kids. Oh well. - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 12:41pm
Anonymous like, oh my god.. did you know choad's my boyfriend?! - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 12:58pm

You can't tell me we weren't all "Chapters" kids or whatever at one time or another. It's good that they're showing up to shows; maybe it'll rub off on them. I still remember showing up to MY first show in a Madonna baby-T and a headband. I've since learned from other people at shows, and no longer wear the headband. - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 1:39pm

um. i wasnt a chapters kid. - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 1:51pm
Jesse Who fucking cares what they look like, Or where they hang out. As long as they appreciate the music. Its funny to hear people complaining that there's not enough people at the show, And then in the same thread hearing "Oohh I wish those kids that hang out at wherever weren't there" More people = More all ages shows, Do you have an idea of how damn hard it is to set up an all ages show? - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 1:56pm
Anonymous what the hell is a chapters kid? the bookstore ? - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 1:58pm
Anonymous the chapters kids are the kids who hang out infront of chapters and come to the shows not for the music. - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 8:43pm
Brett (mgk) i also find is funny also when i see guys decked out in their punk gear but i have never seen them at a show. anyways the sweathogs fucking ruled, i had never seen em before and i was really impressed, can't say i saw to much of yeknob but all i can say is casualties on speed - Mon, 30 Sep 2002 11:12pm

Who the fuck cares what people look like you dumbass?? theyre there to support the local bands and thats all that fucking matters. I Love Yeknob - Tue, 1 Oct 2002 1:19am
Devotchka Ya, I know more people=more all agers. It's cool that all different types of kids come out to support the shows. It's annoying though when people come just to drink and don't even step foot in the building. - Tue, 1 Oct 2002 10:39am

c'mon, dont you remember how hard it is to be an underaged drinker. there's nowhere to go, nothing to do! i was fond of parks and parkinglots. hahah. yeah. there should be a drinking corrale. - Tue, 1 Oct 2002 5:34pm
Anonymous no one was saying anything about what they LOOK like, it's how they act. they (the ones i know, i'm sure it's not all of them) are dumb mean rich suburb kids who have nothing better to do than hang out in front of chapters/mcdonalds and talk about how "punk" they are. i'm glad they come because, hey, they pay. - Tue, 1 Oct 2002 7:54pm

I don't care for some of the snooty little fucks either, but they've learning to do. Their top o the pops right now just like everyone was when they were 14. I may find them fucking trying, but the simple fact of the matter is that without that one specific folk, there would be no all ages shows in Victoria. Sorry to say, but they out number the lot of the rest of the folk combined & every last one of them pays. They haven't grown the gull to sneak in yet cause their still in the ripe age where they're sure they'll get beaten up for it. Infact, out last show, this very one, if 5 of those kids had decided not to show up, we would have lost money. If none of them showed up, we would have lost pretty much all of it. But at least pretty much all of them are the only people one can count on to be at every show they can. I can't really say that for any other crews. Even most of the bands aren't that consistantly committed. Fanx to the annoying Chapters fux! Three Cheers, children! - Wed, 2 Oct 2002 1:30pm
Anonymous like everyone when they were 14? hey speak for yourself! - Wed, 2 Oct 2002 2:04pm

i was once a chapters kid not too long ago i agree that its fucking lame as shit when they dont go into the building they just go to hang out dont they do that enough at chapters......but whatever the ones that pay are cool to me and some of them are just plain cool people although someones life revolving around hanging out in front of a bookstore seems a tad juvinile - Thu, 3 Oct 2002 8:01pm
S.V. Yikes! How times have changed. When we were young gutter scum we hung out at "Piss Alley"...Punks in Y2K choose Chapter's as the destination of choice. Does this mean they're higher educated?? ;) Today's Punx tomorrow's Nobel prize recipients. ;) ;) ;) - Thu, 3 Oct 2002 11:00pm

Anonymous Punk is dead. Don't get me wrong, I love punk rock, I was at that show (which was great) , but punk is dead. - Mon, 7 Oct 2002 7:52pm
Anonymous Wow what an original response! - Tue, 8 Oct 2002 12:02pm

"Punk is dead, we're just kicking it!" - Fri, 11 Oct 2002 6:08pm
Anonymous i may have been quite drunk at that show, and have only come in for yeknob, but it was well worth it... i've seen mgk and sweathogs before so it was no big loss.... and hey it was chapters kids who started those bloody moshpits - Sat, 19 Oct 2002 12:15pm
