| brad User Info... | dude...that is the funniest shit i've read in some time. fuck i feel as though im in an issue of an even lamer National Enquirer or something! for a couple of reasons..this is fucked up (not necessarily in this order mind you) 1. this is the first time i've heard about it 2. i'm not going to be in vic OR van on the 23rd 3. NO ONE from BWD will be in vic or van on the 23rd (having said this, they may have secretly recruited a new drummer to be my replacement...in which case this is a shitty way to find out) 4.this certainly WOULDN'T/(ISN"T) be BWD's LAST SHOW... 5.the FIRST fucking band we would be asking to play is MASS GRAVE...if we were in fact playing, and it in fact being our last show. none of which is true of course..because..well reffer to #'s 1 and 2 and 3. come to your own conclusion. | brad User Info... | Sati (who runs the livemusicvancouver site) dropped us all an email. apparently the promoter and venue have parted ways in the past couple of days. no idea how this happened but, seems none of us had a clue about it. BuryWhatsDead will hopefully resume sometime in the new year, possibly in Feb but maybe as late as March. I'm personally involved in four bands right now, and i have some reunion shows booked in late Jan/early Feb for my first band NinthHour from the early-mid 90's. so call it five bands for me alone, all planning either recording/gigs/cd/lp releases etc...so there has been speculation I may not return. this of course is as absurd as the original cause for this post.
