| Akylore User Info... | Eeeks....I'm having a flashback about the whole Darkthrone incident in 1994 (if you've all read pages 303 to 305 of Lords of Chaos.) Fenriz himself stated this on the "Transilvanian Hunger" release: "We would like to state that 'Transilvanian Hunger' stands beyond any criticism, if any man should attempt to criticize this LP, he should be thoroughly patronized for his obvious jewish behaviour." The band issued an apology for the statement...as apparently, the word "jew" is substituted for "jerk" in Norway (this was written in Darkthrone's apology in page 305.) Yet the album still bears the title: "NORWEGIAN ARYAN BLACK METAL." Mind you...Varg Vikernes had collaboration on this album so that would explain it. Yet I'm still a fan of "A Blaze in the Northern Sky." Mind you, there's no Nazi/Anti-Semetic messages in those lyrics at all. Grimlorn's follow up to the bloodred thread (surprise surprise) deny the racial connotation...yet Grimlorn's lyrics don't have any Nazi/Anti-Semetic messages either, so I don't really care. If they still play Christ-raping black metal then I'm content, just as long as they don't go on a rampage like Nokturnal Mortem or Graveland. BM can be a murky water in the first place. Even if this were so, feeding a beast such as the NS culture with harsh words and outlandish resistance furthers the cause towards the shock value many of the bands dictate. It is almost like scratching at the wound to make it heal. It does not work. Grimlorn has always been a good live band as well as genuinely nice people. | Akylore User Info... |  Limbonic Art used a drum machine, but their music was more symphonic/experimental in the first place, so there was more room for it. Tartaros used it as well, but they had the CastleVania thing going on, so again, it didn't bother me. Same thing for Eclipse. It wouldn't suit Grimlorn's music...finding a good drummer up island may be a difficult thing. Singers and guitarists are a plenty, but good drummers? Polands so called "Allies" however, stabbed the Polish in the back. Hey Animus, have you READ Mein Kampf? Hitler thought of the Polish people as inferior, only good as slaves or corpses. The whole thing started because the SS took twelve polish prisoners, poisoned them, shot them, and then dressed them in Polish military uniforms to make it look like they were under attack so they could retaliate. After a week of heavy fire from German Battleships (Fall Weiss) Poland was pretty fucked up and there wasn't much left for the allies to save. But they fought anyway. The ONLY reason that some of the Polish people remaining alive fought alongside the Germans is because they were given an ultimatum, surrender and fight with us, or face bombardment. The nazis killed over 6 million Polish and only HALF of them were Jews. And they didn't stop killing until there weren't enough people left from poland to feed Germany's slave labour requirements. So by the time the allies kicked Germany's ass, Poland was pretty much destroyed anyways. It was the Germans, not the allies, that fucked Poland. Judging by these facts and many more I'd say the Germans went as far and farther than anyone could have ever done in their situation, the Germans stood practicaly alone against the greatest and most imposing military force ever assembled against one enemy and they persevered and were nearly triumphant.
