By reinventing the blues for a rock audience and introducing classic tunes and artists to new generations of riff-hungry listeners Mr. "Bad to the Bone" was bucking trends long before those acts came along. In a long and storied career that reaches back to the late '70s, Thorogood and his band the Destroyers have given us iconic rock staples like "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer", "Move it On Over", "Who Do You Love?" and "I Drink Alone." A two-disc retrospective, Greatest Hits: 30 Years of Rock, and a recent album of newly recorded material by the likes of Eddie Cochran and Bo Diddley, Ride 'til I Die, prove George Thorogood has been, and still is, one of our pre-eminent ambassadors of the blues.
