Following the release of 2004's Into the Now, their first studio album in ten years, the Sacramento quintet is stripping things down to bare essentials with a tour celebrating the acoustic format they helped pioneer (and which was later popularized by MTV in its "Unplugged" series) with that groundbreaking record. An authentic rock 'n' roll band that's sold over 14 million records and opened for Def Leppard and Alice Cooper, the 16-year-old Tesla is taking the music back to the fans by polling their listeners as to what favourites from past Tesla records they want to hear. Tracks from classic Tesla records like "Signs", "The Way It Is" and "Love Song" will be included in the set for this historic event, which celebrates the band's sturdy, lasting melodies and instrumental prowess.
