Comprised of some of the most inspirational voices you will ever hear, the Harlem Gospel Choir is composed of the finest singers and musicians from various black churches in Harlem. The Harlem Gospel Choir brings a message of love, peace and harmony for thousands of people from various nations, backgrounds and cultures.

Founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey, who has helped promote the careers of Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie and Prince, the Harlem Gospel Choir has performed for the Pope and sung "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" with U2 (Bono hailed them as "Angels in Harlem").

Devoted to making the world a more loving and peaceful place, the Harlem Gospel Choir brings people and nations together, touching the depths of the soul and raising spirits to angelic heights with their music and performances. This mission has seen the Harlem Gospel Choir perform all over the world in countries like Japan, Italy, UK, Ireland, Australia, Brazil and Mexico just to name a few. Fresh off their 2003/2004 "Give Peace a Chance Tour", the singers are embarking on the "God Bless the Child" world tour.

When they're not touring, the Harlem Gospel Choir can be found performing at weekly sold-out Sunday soul food brunches at the B.B King Blues Club in New York's Times Square District. This combination of soulful food and music has served to uplift the spirits of New Yorkers and tourists from around the world.

Don't miss the Harlem Gospel Choir live at the Commodore Ballroom on Wednesday, October 12th.
