| Above the knee User Info... |  I play guitar and my prior band had me playing fast and technical melodic death metal. By no means do I want my next project to sound the same. My musical tastes range greatly so I'd love to throw some ideas around with individuals who have the right 'fit'. I have guitar and growls covered at the moment (yes, this band will have growling but it doesn't mean that other singers should not apply.... like I said, pretty much anything goes if it feels right). If you think you'd be up for this, regardless of what instrument you play, e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll get right back to you. Play a violin? cello? flute? keys? I'll entertain anything haha. The things I ask for in anyone applying are: - regardless of how crazy technical you are, you must be solid in your playing (you don't need to be an insane solo monster or anything) - willing to contribute ideas for the music/shows/anything - Must have a professional attitude (not hold up to the 'musician' stereotype of being a flake. Also, have a care about the band's ability to entertain in a live setting) - Own proper gear - Be willing to contribute if money needs to be spent to rent a jam space (I don't have one of my own) I don't care about your age as long as you can get into a bar (I'm 27). I'm in this for the satisfaction of playing live music. No delusions of finding fame. If you want to know I can play, just listen to any Reaver track on youtube. If for some reason things don't work out, please don;t take offense. A proper fit is one of the most important things in a band and sometimes, for whatever reason, it isn't there.
