I was talking to Nev, who for those of you that don't know co-runs this site... Apparently he got an email about me, basically saying that the pic from my profile is offensive... Fact is, it is offensive, but what do you expect from someone who calls himself "Sick Fuck"... Flowers and puppies?.. a nice happy psychadelic scene suitable for a Beatles album?... No... you expect it to be at least mildy sick... But really... I find it rather funny that someone actually felt the need to "report" me for gross content... ME of all people, portraying something SICK and gross? [Gasp] ... For those of you that know me.. you know the pic is actually quite a mild one.. in fact, we made stickers with it last year and were handing them out at gigs, along with another pic of a guy who had an argument with a shotgun, and lost half his head over it... Hell, even my own band thinks I go over the line with gross content... but it's true.. I am "One Sick Fuck"... it's not like I'm going out murdering people for these pics... they're fully available all over the internet in a variety of different gore galleries... http://www.missstrict.net http://www.goregallery.com http://www.fugly.com http://www.rotten.com http://www.bangedup.com Just to name a few But really, I understand that not everyone enjoys pics of mutilated corpses and rotting flesh... Big fuckin deal. Learn to cope with it. If a pic like that offends you, then you got a choice: There are two specific buttons on your internet browser, one goes "back" and the other looks like a red box with an "X" in it. Pick whichever button suits you best. It's called freedom of choice, and it's one of the ideals this country was founded upon. Go to the library and look it up if you have any of them left after you've finished burning all the books. If a pic like that in someones profile is soooo offensive and soooo big a cause for concern that they felt it nescessary to write the webmaster and complain, maybe you're too fucked up to have an internet connection in the first place. Especially considering how there is far worst stuff to complain about. Yes, gore is gross, but who cares. Since these easily-offended people are probably hiding behind their morals and their bibles, then checking the profile of someone named "Sikfuk" should not have even seemed like a good idea at the time. By the way, one does not have to click the profile of "Sikfuk" to view his profile pic. All one has to do is click on the "who's online" button at the top of the messageboard page and the dead corpse comes up there unexpectantly. Not everyone who uses this website can stomach pictures of hacked up dead bodies. I agree that censorship sucks, but perhaps people should be a little bit more intelligent in where they place offensive pictures.
