| ACIDWASH -COLIN User Info... |  Somehow Everyone that sees, or meets our band "Acidwash", seems to think we come off as assholes, which if you knew us, it's not true at all. I think people read our personalities and our music wrong and some things need to be said about this whole situation, because at the end of the day,, PEOPLES OPINION'S ARE NOT FACTS ABOUT US. -Our songs have solo's in them, This is a way to convay our feelings of the music upon people, They are NOT a way for me, "colin" and or alex to show you up or to make us look good, we play solo's because its a way to express feelings through guitar. A solo shows more personal emotion , than a D chord to and a minor chord progression ever could. - Point number 2,,,,,,,, If Alex and nick our outgoing,,,, This does not mean they think they are better than you and should not be taken in as being jerks,,, I think alex was the only one at the show who was going around talking to everyone trying bring out some emotion and I don't talk alot in general ,, so that does not mean I dont like you, I just dont talk alot,, period. Furthermore, I don't know why people on this site,, feel the need to go out of their way to put down our band and others, People are open to have their own opionions on matters,, But if its negative, Keep it inside your head, Don't go out of your way to be a jerk, so you can feel good infront of your computer screen, and feel like you just mouthed us off, You just mouthed off a moniter,,,,,not us. Musicians in this music scene put them selves infront of everyone, and open up in order TO INTERTAIN YOU, NOT BE COCKY, OR TO LOOK BETTER THAN EVERYONE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE US,,,, DON'T GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO BE AN ASSHOLE,,,,,,,,,,,,,JUST DONT LITSEN TO OUR MUSIC AND DON'T COME TO THE SHOWS. | MLT (a division of) User Info... | wow people. talk about teenage angst. anyways i thought acidwash put on a good show.. i spoke a bit with them back stage, they seem like good guys. i did however think it was pretty rude when one of them was talking shit about vinegroon after the show. and it seemed like the bass player had nothing better to do than run around to the other bands comparing scores to see who won or came second. if you dont have anything nice to say then keep your mouth shut. constructive criticism is alot different then openly bashing. cheers - Wed, 4 May 2005 3:10pm | ||

| wanless User Info... | I don't know what it is ACIDWASH-colin, but when my band plays shows the other bands talk shit about us too. Its kinda lame, i think it might have something to do with bringing the guitar solo back and making music more than a 3 chord progression. I don't see why people in bands can't say these guys got it, or they put on a good show. Its not sports, you are allowed to like more than one band. | Brumy User Info... | The demo on purevolume is much better than the last one i heard, but the siniging....lol needs alot of work and its a little bit to long, not alot just mabye shorten it to 5 mins instead of 6, cause i kinda got bored.
