I just put pop.rock.punk so I wouldn't get a bunch of heavy metal bands and stuff, because ths isn;t that type of show. | K9 User Info... | hey there... i'm the bass player from Anita Hoare (from Vancouver) and we've been networking (from organizing shows to flyering) in the Lower Mainland with other bands. in the new year (2005) we'd lke to come out to the island to play shows, as well we'll provide shows out here... or eslewhere (like Squamish, Whistler etc.). ideally we're looking for "all ages" shows and would like to hook up with a promoter on the island that knows what they are doing (hall rental, organize advertising and proper PA) we have a roster of bands and a reliable vehicle that can accomodate up to three bands at a time, so ideally we'd like to be bringing three bands at a time and hooking up with a 4th band that's local... (and we'd do the same for you) to play kick ass shows. to do this, it takes a team; the teens that hand out flyerz at their skewlz, head shop owners who carry shwag and help promote, promoter to coordinate this, bands (who are willing to go the distance), local radio stations that will help advertise these low budget shows for the kidz (big & small alike). who's interested...? email me then, [email protected] - Fri, 24 Dec 2004 11:46am | ||
