| Brian VIHC User Info... | SO...I spoke to the head honcho over at the Centre this afternoon. There's good news and bad news. The bad news: no more shows in the cafe room (for some of you nuts, this IS good news). Also the attendant on duty now has instructions to immediately call the cops if anyone is stumbling drunk, causing serious trouble, fighting, refusing to leave...basically anything they consider out of hand. And my damage deposit is gone, and the November booking is cancelled. The good news: starting in December, we're allowed to have shows in the large activity room. The sound is poor unless you're willing to shell out hundreds of dollars for a pro sound guy. It's size makes the show seem less well attended, but in this case beggars can't be choosers. I am waiting on final word for the full cost of the damages and then I'll know how much we need to raise at the benefit show. - Mon, 18 Oct 2004 5:56pm | ||

| Brian VIHC User Info... | The benefit show won't be at the JBCC, since there will be no November show there. I am trying to get the 50/50, no word back yet. For those of you who are interested, I'm posting a couple videos from the Oct.9 show on the VIHC website tonight. In the Self Inflicted clip the kid who was stumbling and falling down drunk we wouldn't let in can be seen walking in the back door. Also the girl with the backwards/sideways baseball cap who is probably the window smasher is in the clip, the song however is about 4 1/2 minutes long so in order to fit it on the server I had to squish the video down to 6MB and the quality isn't so great.
