When i bought this album, i sort of new what to expect and i was scared i wasn't going to like it. After an initial listen, i was not convinced that i would enjoy it. However after accepting the changes and differences then i really started to enjoy it. The biggest difference i noticed right off the bat was much much more post production. There was always ambience, most guitar tracks where doubled, most vocals were doubled, some guitar tracks were overdubbed (not entirely a bad thing!) and the mix was much heavier. This was a sharp contrast to their debut which was more barebones (and still wonderful!). Another big difference was the singing, as in; there was a lot more. This is kind of a welcome change because they are pretty dynamic, and on the first album, often there was yelling when singing would have really hit the spot. 'Watch out' is tough to get into, but when you do, its a good listen. - Fri, 6 Aug 2004 11:21am

This is an amazing album, better then their last which was hard to top. the dynamic contrast is just amazing and his screaming is used very well, as in their first album when it seemed slightly overdone at times. The drummer is just so tasty, he leaves a savoury flavour in my mouth. The guitar work is also quite enjoyable, Dallas is a fantastic singer, haunting and intense, i love it. I didnt like white Devil that much. Accidents hase been in my head for a month, i love it when punk/hardcore evolves and everyone gets mad and calls it a sell out. - Mon, 20 Jun 2005 11:23am

This is a fuckin smokin album! Actually quite original for the genre and some killer song writing. The combo of vocals works wicked ( the guy's clean singing rule's )and the overall production is flawless. I was a bit reluctant but when Greg Pratt told me to give it a listen I did and it didnt leave the changer for months. I was actually disappointed that BW&BK didn't list it in their top 50 of 2004. - Thu, 23 Jun 2005 4:51pm

Imnot a fan of the whole screamo thing but this album is tastefully done. I didn't like the debut but this is a much more melodic but still rockin album. Definitely some good driving music, and definitely want to see them live. - Sun, 26 Jun 2005 6:02pm

I agree with Scott... Took me a couple trys to get into, but once I did, I like it just as much as the first. If some of you fools are worried about Alexis's material straying to far away from the screaming... I read an interview with them and they said their next album (coming out this summer!) should be way more like their first. Wether that is a good or bad thing is for you to decide. And Nik buddy.. I thought we were friends? haha. - Tue, 28 Jun 2005 7:42am
