Bryn User Info... | I just have to say that this is an unusually good metal CD. I picked it up at their recent show and it has been growing on me ever since. It reminds me a lot of earlier Entombed and more recent Immortal. Totally top notch, you should check this one out! - Mon, 28 Jun 2004 10:17pm
The Other Nick User Info... | I bought that cd, and the 7" as well. Continuing the tradition of naming everything TOTALITY, the 7" is named "Totality's Kommand". Both are quite good, as Bryn said. Definitely have a mixture of deathmetal and black metal in there, but i have to say, they somehow achive this mix without sounding like typical "war metal". Then again, i dont know shite about war metal, so, well, there you go. They have quite a varied mix of riffs, not just the usual random palm muted power chords, and trem picked high notes. In my narrow minded opinion, i think the vocals are the weakest part of the album(s), as i only like gutteral grind belches or unholy sonic blackmetal church peircing screeches, and the vocals here are somewhere between. - Mon, 28 Jun 2004 10:31pm
Nik Olaz User Info... | yeah i really like this disc too. fucking awesome. - Mon, 28 Jun 2004 10:45pm
Mutilashawn User Info... | i CANNOT get enough of this CD. Good from start to finish!! Why oh why didn't I buy this? Now I have a horrible burned copy of it!! CURSES!!!!! KNEW YOU WOULD RUN TO LIFE!!!! - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 8:55am
ML7Mike User Info... | I bought the Inquistion cd instead. - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 10:38am
The Other Nick User Info... | I only had ~ 12$ at that show, and i now regret not buying the Inquistion CD with that money. I should have burnt the Rites CD and bought the Inquisition CD instead of buying the Rites, and burning the Inquisition. The artwork for the "Invoking the Magistic Throne o' Satan" is worth the price by itself. I also find myslef muttering along to Inquistion, which means i desperately want the lyrics. Fuck, both great discs. - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 1:15pm
Starry_Wisdom User Info... | Inquisition's stuff is not too easy to come by, I really wish I had been able to be at that show. Course I also need to get my hands on the rest of RotD's stuff. I only have the demo, which is fantastic btw... I urge anyone into non-typical cult metal to check their stuff out, you won't be sorry. - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 7:53pm
canon.docre User Info... | Inquisition blew away any blackmetal band I've heard in the last 5 years, if for the 'muttering vocals' alone. Fucking true. - Sun, 4 Jul 2004 11:25pm
The Other Nick User Info... | i cannot stop listening to Inquisition, Hail.......SATAN! (cue scottish jig music) this is the best moment in black metal history - Mon, 5 Jul 2004 8:23am
ML7Mike User Info... | "Inquisition blew away any blackmetal band I've heard in the last 5 years, if for the 'muttering vocals' alone" Agreed. - Mon, 5 Jul 2004 11:38am
